Security Committee Chairman

       Plainly stated, the purpose of your Safety and Security Committee is to coordinate efforts between homeowners to develop RELATIONSHIPS in order to achieve the following objectives:

 

       1. Collect information pertaining to illicit activities in our neighborhood;

 

       2. Communicate the information collected to our community and law enforcement in an organized,

       efficient manner to increase situational awareness and focus efforts;

 

       3. Correlate information collected from separate events to aid law enforcement in the identification,

       apprehension and prosecution of the perpetrators;

 

       4. Inform the community of the efforts of law enforcement to address the incidences of crime in the

       neighborhood;

 

       5. Provide a network for residents to communicate security concerns and suggestions to the

       Homeowner’s Association and law enforcement;

 

       6. Create a neighborhood reputation that dissuades thieves and wrongdoers from continued

       operation in our community;

       7. Develop relationships with community law enforcement, fire fighters, EMS and other first responders ;

​

       8. Share knowledge to increase individual and collective situational awareness, improve preparation

       for unplanned events and empower neighbors to help neighbors with skills acquired through training

       and life experience.

       We will meet these objectives by working together as a community, supporting our neighbors, taking notice and taking action.
